Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth were looking to add a Product Engineer - Database Expertise located in Guadalajara South Campus
Reporting to the Technical Project Manager the PProduct Engineer - Database Expertise role involves receiving analyzing cleaning and customizing all technical information/documentation from the customer related to their product derived from a New Product Introduction (NPI) or a design change to establish all necessary processes to manufacture it by maintaining its design and performance integrity.
What a typical day looks like:
- Experience with extraction and database manipulation.
- Daily dealings with clients.
- Support production by assessing product engineering issues of diverse scope that arise on the production line.
- Interact with customers and various departments on product-related issues engineering changes and new model development.
- Suggest modifications to work instructions materials or product changes to ensure superior quality of products.
- Participate in cost reduction activities in areas like material inventory and scrap reduction.
- Provide training to the debug technicians and develop a better understanding of the product.
The experience were looking to add to our team:
- BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in the automotive industry and electronic manufacturing environment.
- Database experience (SQL Server is a plus).
- Fluent English.
- Experience using Floor shop systems.
- Knowledge of personnel management experience in ECOs implementation.
- Leadership - Work team management experience.
- Availability to travel.
