Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled and strategicCommercial Procurement Specialist to join our Latin America Procurement team. This role requires a results-driven professional with a strong ability to influence senior leadership drive strategic initiatives and manage high-value supplier relationships to enhance business performance.
This is a critical role within the organization demanding commitment analytical thinking and strong negotiation skills to ensure the company achieves its cost quality innovation and operational efficiency goals. The ideal candidate must have a proactive and strategic mindset capable of leading key procurement projects that impact business growth and transformation.
Develop and execute best-in-class sourcing strategies for the CP Latin America region including Hills LA to drive cost optimization supplier innovation and business value creation.
Build and manage high-impact relationships with senior leadership and key stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
Lead complex negotiations and establish long-term agreements with key suppliers to secure competitive advantages.
Define and implement supplier selection and performance management processes to ensure high service levels cost efficiency and continuous improvement.
Champion supplier diversity and sustainability initiatives within marketing and related procurement areas.
Monitor and analyze industry trends risks and opportunities to proactively adjust sourcing strategies and mitigate potential supply chain disruptions.
Drive collaboration with cross-functional teams (Marketing Finance Supply Chain Legal etc.) to enhance procurements strategic impact on business goals.
Lead the rollout of global and divisional procurement strategies ensuring alignment with corporate initiatives.
Track and report procurement KPIs providing actionable insights to drive continuous improvements.
Present key results and strategic initiatives to senior leadership and the Americas executive team.
Bachelors degree in Engineering Business Administration International Business Supply Chain or related fields.
Minimum 5 years of strategic procurement experience preferably in marketing or commercial procurement.
Proven experience in supplier relationship management strategic negotiations contract development and cost optimization initiatives.
Strong business acumen with the ability to communicate and influence senior leadership effectively.
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills to assess market dynamics and drive competitive sourcing strategies.
Expertise in project management methodologies and e-Procurement tools.
Proficiency in competitive bidding and strategic sourcing methodologies.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written).
