The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for leading planning scheduling and supply chain operations at the Youngstown site to ensure on-time delivery volume attainment and strategic readiness. This role is pivotal in enabling digital transformation through data-driven planning system adoption and cross-functional coordination. The ideal candidate will demonstrate entrepreneurial leadership analytical rigor and the ability to drive modernization across MRP APS MES and AI-enabled planning systems.
This position assumes functional leadership responsibilities and is expected to navigate both tactical execution and strategic initiatives beyond core daily operations.
Job Duties:
Planning & Scheduling
Develop and maintain the long-range master supply plan using advanced planning tools (e.g. Sage 300 MRP Siemens Preactor).
Ensure synchronization between macro supply plans and detailed asset/shift-level schedules.
Evaluate capacity demand and material availability to optimize supply-demand balance and level-load production.
Modernization & System Adoption
Lead planning-related modernization initiatives including MRP configuration APS optimization and automated work order closure.
Partner with IT and data analysts to support system integrations (Sage 300 MES Forecast X) and scenario modeling.
Champion AI-readiness by applying predictive analytics and anomaly detection to improve planning agility.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with Commercial Operations and Finance teams to align forecasts resource planning and pro-forma financials.
Support monthly SIOP cycles with accurate data KPI dashboards and scenario planning.
Procurement & Sourcing
Gather market intelligence develop sourcing strategies and negotiate supplier agreements.
Maintain spend analytics to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement efficiency.
Performance Management
Monitor and report KPIs including schedule stability work order closure rates and inventory accuracy.
Lead and develop direct reports setting annual goals and driving performance aligned with modernization objectives.
Continuous Improvement
Incorporate Lean and Continuous Improvement methodologies into supply chain continuity planning.
Drive change management activities to ensure successful adoption of new systems and processes.
Qualifications and Experience Requirements:
BS/BA in Engineering Supply Chain Business or related discipline required.
10 years of experience in related field including scheduling and/ or master planning.
APICS CPM certification highly desired.
Computer skills should include advanced aptitude in Microsoft office with and emphasis in Excel and PowerPoint.

Work Environment:
Position is carried out primarily in an office environment in a factory setting. On occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
