The opportunity:
As Finance Manager for the Southland Region you will play a pivotal leadership role in driving financial performance supporting strategic growth and fostering a culture of excellence across the business. This position offers the opportunity to lead a high-performing team collaborate with senior stakeholders and contribute meaningfully to the success of Fulton Hogans infrastructure operations. This is a hands on role that requires both technical expertise and strong leadership skills.
In addition to the above you will:
- Lead monthly project cost reviews and ensure financial risks are proactively managed across all regional projects.
- Provide financial support for tenders business development initiatives and the mobilisation of new projects.
- Mentor and develop a small team of accountants and administrators fostering continuous improvement and professional growth.
- Leading the month-end and Year-end close processes
- Preparing financial Statements budgets and forecasts
- Providing financial insights and analysis to support strategic decisions
To be successful in this role you will:
- 10 years of commercial accounting experience
- Strong skills in JDE Excel and financial forecasting
- Ability to analyse and critique financial data
- Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines
- Clear and confident communication skills
- Proven leadership and team coordination abilities
- Highly organised and able to juggle multiple tasks
