AWC Staff Services are looking for a Project Manager to work on a Caledonia Water Alliance project in Glasgow.
The ideal candidate will understand the water network experience in techniques delivering high volume mains renewal schemes and knowledge in NEC contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
- You will oversee a variety of clean water projects including slip line open cut Pipe bursting upgrading and sustaining the water Network.
- Follow health and safety standards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Lead and manage clean water projects from inception to completion ensuring projects are delivered on time within budget and to the required standards.
- Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across all projects ensuring compliance with safety health and environmental requirements.
- Interpret and review project design drawings challenging designs where necessary to ensure feasibility and cost-effectiveness.
- Prepare and manage project schedules ensuring the use of tools like Microsoft Project to track progress.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- An understanding of the water network
- Experience in techniques delivering high volume mains renewal schemes
- Knowledge in NEC contracts
- Temporary Works Coordinator Ticket
- SMSTS Ticket
- NRSWA Supervisor Ticket
- Water Hygiene Card
