Job Description
We are looking for a Project Manager to lead the development construction and commissioning of electrical and utilities infrastructure for a new data centre in Madrid. This role will also support business development and strategy activities related to project development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead energy & utilities projects from concept to delivery ensuring alignment with goals.
- Coordinate with engineers contractors stakeholders and utilities for HV/MV infrastructure.
- Supervise design and construction of substations and power lines ensuring timely budget-aligned delivery.
- Manage resources budgets schedules and quality control.
- Track progress conduct meetings and escalate issues as needed.
- Negotiate contracts and bids with contractors developers and consultants.
- Evaluate site due diligence and resolve factors impacting project handover.
- Analyze deliverables raise queries and ensure compliance with requirements.
- Prepare progress reports to support decision-making and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Key Requirements
- Bachelors in Electrical Industrial Energy Engineering or related
- Advanced knowledge of HV/MV electrical systems and Spanish electricity regulations; experience in other countries a plus.
- 3 years experience with DSOs TSPs suppliers or utilities.
- Experience in planning design permitting and construction of HV/MV substations and underground power lines.
- Familiarity with power line concessions interconnection agreements and utilities operating models.
- Data center client experience preferred.
- Strong analytical problem-solving negotiation and communication skills.
- Fluency in English; proactive autonomous flexible and commercially astute.
