We are New Zealands leading courier company entrusted with helping Kiwis with their deliveries for over 50 are the largest subsidiary of the Freightways Group we employee over 1100 employees and 550 independent contractors in 25 locations across New Zealand. The Role
You will be a motivated and organised individual and you thrive in customer-centric and fast-paced this position your main responsibility will be ensuring the timely and professional handling of all incoming parcels regarding damages repacks and missorted freight. Ideally you will have a sound local and regional geographical knowledge of NZ wide cities and towns to effectively manage all exception and undeliverable freight.
With your strong initiative interpersonal skills and capability to lift heavy items you will be the perfect addition to our Freight Office Team.
This role is Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
Key attributes
- Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
- Capability to manage a diverse range of duties
- Experience in similar roles or the express freight industry
- Computer literacy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Physically Fit (able to lift up to 25kgs)
- Great communication and time management skillset
- Strong focus on Health and Safety
