Senior Paralegal Foreclosures
Salary: $70000 $90000
Location: Vancouver BC
About the Role
Our client one of Canadas top law firms is seeking an experienced Senior Paralegal to join their team and take the lead on foreclosure matters. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional who is confident managing files independently liaising with clients and supporting counsel in all aspects of foreclosure proceedings.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional who is confident managing files independently liaising with clients and supporting counsel in all aspects of foreclosure proceedings.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage foreclosure files from start to finish including drafting reviewing and filing all necessary documents.
- Prepare pleadings affidavits applications and related court materials.
- Liaise with clients lenders opposing counsel and the courts to ensure timely and accurate handling of matters.
- Conduct title registry and other legal searches as required.
- Track key deadlines court dates and limitation periods to ensure compliance.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior paralegals or legal assistants as needed.
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a paralegal with a focus on foreclosures.
- Strong knowledge of foreclosure procedures court rules and related legislation in British Columbia.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage high-volume files independently.
- Superior drafting communication and client service skills.
- Proficiency with legal software and MS Office; experience with electronic filing systems
- Paralegal Certificate or Diploma
