Nashua New Hampshire is a vibrant city nestled in the picturesque southern region of the state surrounded by the scenic Nashua and Merrimack rivers. Its been named the Best Place to Live in America by Money Magazine twice and its convenient location just a 45-minute drive from Boston and an hour from the New Hampshire Seacoast provides access to diverse outdoor activities such as hiking biking skiing and more.
Our organization with a rich history dating back to 1900 is committed to animal well-being and fostering human-animal bonds through community education. We operate a comprehensive veterinary hospital equipped with spacious exam rooms an in-house laboratory a sterile surgical suite a designated dental area digital dental radiography digital radiography and ultrasound.

Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding veterinary care to homeless and owned pets including physical exams diagnostics treatment plans shelter and owner requested euthanasia and necropsies.
- Perform surgical procedures on a regular basis including spay/neuter dentistry and various soft tissue and possibly orthopedic.
- Advise pet owners on preventative healthcare nutrition and overall pet well-being
- Update client records
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
- Licensure in good standing to practice veterinary medicine and surgery.
- State controlled substance license practitioner in good standing.
- Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) controlled substance license practitioners in good standing.
- Previous work experience as a veterinarian
- Knowledge of medical equipment and anesthesia procedures
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex medical concepts in simple terms
- Problem-solving skills
- Availability to take evening weekend shift if necessary
- Patience and a love for animals
Salary and Benefits
Six figure Annual salary based on experience
