Veterinarian DVM
Vancouver BC
Vancouver Animal Wellness Animal Hospital in Vancouver BC is currently welcoming a Veterinarian to join our team of highly engaged and professional veterinary professionals.
In this role youll use your superior medical judgment combined with a high level of empathy confidence and humility to build a loyal client base and heal pets. You understand the importance of collaborating with the pet-owner and the support team to provide the best care possible to your patient. You are confident in operating various medical equipment and performing medical procedures; physical examinations immunization and pride yourself on providing expert patient care!
About the Hospital
Vancouver Animal Wellness Hospitaloffers a unique mix of conventional veterinary medicine and alternative therapies like acupuncture veterinary spinal manipulation therapy and holistic therapies. Our veterinarians receive excellent support from a team of three veterinary technologists three veterinary assistants and three amazingly skilled client care specialists.
As our ideal Candidate you have:
A valid veterinarian license allowing practice in Canada
Experience in; soft tissue surgical procedures preventative care and offering nutritional advice.
Excellent dentistry skills as well as a strong interest in this area of practice
Strong leadership skills combined with a positive team player attitude to enable our teams to flourish
Exemplary customer service that builds loyalty and trust with your clients
Dedicated to promoting team-based medicine practices
Exceptional interpersonal skills in working with your colleagues pet parents and community
A passion for coaching and mentoring students along their DVM journey
An interest in attending conferences and networking with colleagues
Certification (or a demonstrated interest in furthering your education) in Acupuncture Spinal Manipulation Therapy or Rehabilitation
A love for all companion animals!
