Job Description

PRE-K TEACHER (FULL DAY)COBURN ELEMENTARY SCHOOLESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:-Responsible for supervising/managing all classroom activities-Effectively communicate with students and families.-Create plans for daily activities consistent with the districts curriculum-Foster a positive and healthy learning environment-Ensure the classroom is kept clean and safe at all times-Encourage creative thinking and learning-Interact with other teachers and administrative staff as needed-Communicate with parents/guardians regarding child development and progress-Monitor and evaluate students progress.-Perform other duties as :- Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution;- Massachusetts teacher certifiable in elementary education grades Pre-K 2 with and without disabilities- Ability to work with a diverse population- Knowledge of inclusive instruction and response to intervention helpfulSalary: Unit A contract (salary range:$52368 - $99083)
