Job Description
Angott Search Group is partnering with a leading owners representative firm supporting clients with energy projects that reduce costs increase resiliency and advance sustainability.
We are seeking a Controller / Business Operations Director to design and oversee the financial legal and operational infrastructure that drives the firms growth. As a senior leader reporting to the CEO youll have direct impact on strategy Board engagement and the companys long-term scalability.
Location: Sausalito / San Francisco CA Hybrid (3 days in-office)
Key Responsibilities
Lead financial operations: forecasting FP&A reporting cash flow AR/AP and payroll
Build scalable systems dashboards and processes for contracts revenue and staffing
Oversee audits tax filings compliance and risk management
Partner with CEO on hiring compensation HR infrastructure and workforce planning
Manage vendor partner and investor relationships; prepare Board-level updates
Qualifications
Bachelors in Finance/Accounting; CPA preferred
7 years in financial/operations leadership (consulting or professional services a plus)
Strong financial modeling and systems design skills
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online BigTime Excel and remote collaboration tools
Experience with PEO platforms (e.g. Rippling) a strong plus
