About Us:
Dirigo Physical Therapy and Performance is a leading private outpatient orthopedic physical therapy clinic specializing in evidence-based patient-oriented one-on-one care. With two locations in downtown Portland & Saco we have built a reputation for achieving results through our patient-centered approach. Our practice focuses on hands-on care individualized strength training and education without relying on traditional modalities like stim carts or ultrasound machines. The Role:
We are seeking a part-time Performance Physical Therapist to join our team at Dirigo PT and Performance. The ideal candidate will have previous work or clinical experience in outpatient orthopedics and a strong desire to make a difference in peoples lives. At Dirigo Physical Therapy and Performance we prioritize our patients and strive to provide the highest quality care in a supportive and empowering environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a PT who enjoys working with athletes active adults and clients who want to move better feel stronger and perform at their best. New grads are welcome.
What Youll Do:
- Provide evidence-based patient-centered 1-on-1 physical therapy services (NEVER double booking or overlapping patients)
- Conduct thorough evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans with focus on active rehabilitation and thoughtful education strategies for load management and long-term health
- Implement hands-on care movement analysis and progressive strength training utilizing sports science technologies
- Collaborate with our team of performance physical therapists and wellness professionals to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress
- Demonstrate a commitment to professional development and continuous learning
What Were Looking For:
-Licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy
-Strong interest or experience in outpatient orthopedics and/or performance rehab
-Skilled in manual therapy therapeutic exercise and active approaches to care
-Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
-Self-motivated team-oriented and passionate about helping others and making a positive impact
