The opportunity
For our Business Unit Grid Automation based in Santa Palomba (Roma) we are looking for a Senior Test Engineer who will be supporting our team for testing on protection & control systems.
How youll make an impact
- Independently manage both internal tests and final customer tests (FAT);
- Ability to manage internal and external resources;
- Support management to planning activities resources and testing areas;
- Coordinate testing requests that come from all our project managers;
- Lead with experience in testing electrical protections (High Voltage distance protection line and busbar differential protection transformer differential protection generator protection etc.)
Your background:
- Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering or technical diploma;
- >5 years of experience in a similar role;
- Excellent knowledge of Protection Devices ( Distance Differential Line/Busbar/Cable Overcurrentetc);
- Deep knowledge of testing equipment for protection relays particularly on OMICRON devices;
- Deep Knowledge of Terna Substation Projects;
- Ability in troubleshooting analysis of protection & control systems;
- Ability in reading electrical schematic drawings;
- Ability in managing relationship with customers;
- Good knowledge of Italian and English (B2);
- Proactivity team working and problem solving skills;
- Availability to travel in Italy (50%).
