Level: Vice President Quality Control
Location: Rome
Were partnering with a leading global aviation company to appoint a Vice President of Quality Control for its engine MRO facility in Rome.
This newly created leadership role will be responsible for building and leading the Quality Control function from the ground up - shaping processes driving continuous improvement and embedding a culture of operational excellence across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and lead a cohesive QC team and structure.
- Develop and implement quality standards and root-cause processes.
- Drive Lean initiatives including Gemba Kaizen 5S and Value Stream Mapping.
- Partner with Operations and Engineering to optimize quality and performance.
- Foster a culture of accountability collaboration and continuous improvement.
Ideal Candidate
- 5-7 years in aerospace quality management ideally with gas turbine engine experience.
- Strong understanding of Lean/Continuous Improvement tools.
- Proven leadership in building teams and improving process efficiency.
- Engineering or Quality degree preferred.
