Your future duties and responsibilities:
Write reporting specifications (including necessary data elements aggregation methods calculated fields/formulas and visualizations).
Identify and define data elements necessary for report development including ensuring that data needs are fulfilled.
Support the configuration of the SimCorp Investment Management Warehouse (IMW).
Coordinate with the Power BI development team and articulate reporting specifications to developers.
Define test cases and execute testing for reporting and support defect resolution (including identifying & supplying the data necessary for testing)
Support coordination with Safari teams to support activities for downstream application data mapping (e.g. Snowflake and other downstream applications)
Support UAT efforts
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Academic Background
Education: Hold a bachelors degree in accounting finance or a related field and/or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certifications: Professional accounting certification (e.g. CPA) is a strong asset.
Experience
Seniority: Intermediate or Senior
Accounting and Systems Analysis: 5 years of experience in accounting and system analysis particularly in financial applications and/or BI/analytics solutions.
Working experience for a pension fund or an asset management firm is a strong asset.
Business and IT Alignment: Experience in aligning business and IT working across teams to drive common approaches and deliver sustainable agile and reusable solutions.
Competencies (Knowledge Skills & Behaviors)
SQL and Data Analysis: Proficiency with SQL tools for data analysis and data mining is crucial.
Power BI: Strong proficiency with Power BI for financial reporting.
Database/Infrastructure: Working knowledge of traditional database/infrastructure: Windows
Microsoft SQL Server.
Communication Skills: Excellent French and English language communication skills (spoken and written
