Senior Power Platform Developer

KalSoft is currently looking for a Senior Power Platform Developer to join our team in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) in a hybrid work environment.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise across the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps Power Automate Power BI Dataverse) and have a proven track record of designing architecting and delivering enterprise-grade low-code/no-code solutions. This role is a client-facing contractor engagement requiring advanced solution design and hands-on development skills.

Responsibilities:

• Architect design and deliver advanced business applications using the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps Power Automate Power BI Dataverse)

• Develop model-driven and canvas apps ensuring scalable and secure architecture

• Implement enterprise-grade automated workflows integrations and business process flows using Power Automate and Azure services

• Design and deliver advanced Power BI data models dashboards and analytics solutions

• Create and manage custom connectors PCF components and APIs to extend platform functionality

• Establish best practices governance standards and reusable frameworks for Power Platform development

• Collaborate with business stakeholders solution architects and analysts to translate business needs into technical designs

• Provide technical leadership on Power Platform adoption scalability and integration strategies across M365 and Dynamics 365 ecosystems

• Stay current with Microsoft Power Platform roadmap and emerging technologies driving innovation in client solutions

Skills & Experience Required:

• Canadian residents based in the GTA apply only

• Minimum 57 years of proven experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps Power Automate Power BI Dataverse)

• Strong expertise with both canvas and model-driven apps including advanced Dataverse schema design and business rules

• Deep knowledge of Power Automate including RPA approval workflows and enterprise integration with external APIs and services

• Advanced experience with Power BI (data modeling DAX performance optimization row-level security embedding)

• Strong experience in custom connectors PCF controls and API integration

• Solid background integrating Power Platform with SharePoint Online Microsoft Teams Dynamics 365 and Azure services

• Proficiency in scripting and coding languages such as JavaScript TypeScript HTML or C# for extending platform capabilities

• Experience in defining governance security and ALM best practices for Power Platform solutions

• Proven ability to lead solution design discussions with stakeholders and present technical approaches to both technical and non-technical audiences

• Excellent client-facing communication skills

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field preferred

• Relevant Microsoft certifications (Power Platform Developer Associate Power Platform Solution Architect Expert or equivalent) are a strong plus
