Job Description

A noon lunch/recess monitor is responsible for monitoring student behavior during meal service; assists with the cleanliness of the cafeteria assists with recycling and assists with the flow of meal be responsible for recess supervisionJob Duties and Responsibilities Lunch:Manages students during meal service (behavior problems will be referred to the teacher or principal according to guidelines established by the individual school site).Communicates with students and school staff in a positive and professional manner utilizing appropriate customer service and interpersonal skillsCirculate throughout the cafeteria or in areas where meals are served and/or eaten assisting students who need assistanceAssists with the cleanliness of the cafeteriaDismisses classes in an orderly manner at the scheduled timeEncourage good table mannersRecess:Monitor student safety on the playground encourage cooperative play and assist with conflict DutiesPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
