Job Description
Accounting Technician Payroll Services
Pay:$22/hour
Location: Carson City
Schedule: Monday Friday (8AM-5PM)
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Technician to join our payroll this role you will be responsible for the auditing and processing of payroll transactions ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable policies and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Audit and process payroll transactions for State of Nevada employees
Maintain accurate payroll records and financial data
Utilize Microsoft Excel for data entry reporting and analysis
Support the accounting department with payroll administration and financial recordkeeping
Work efficiently in a high-volume deadline-driven environment
Qualifications:
Strong background in payroll processing
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including formulas pivot tables and reporting tools)
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Proven ability to work under tight deadlines
Data entry and payroll experience in a fast-paced environment
