Role Overview
The Relationship Manager in Merchant Banking/Wealth Management develops and manages institutional client relationships structuring and delivering tailored financial products and solutions to meet their specific needs.

Key Responsibilities
- Client Acquisition and amp; Relationship Management: Identify and develop relationships with institutional clients to create new business opportunities and deepen existing relationships in Merchant Banking and Wealth Management.
- Product Structuring and amp; Execution: Collaborate with internal teams to design and execute financial products such as Main Board IPOs SME IPOs PMS AIFs Mutual Funds Bonds NCDs and Fixed Deposits instruments tailored to client needs.
- Market Analysis and amp; Strategy Development: Monitor market trends and economic developments to provide clients with informed insights and strategic advice.
- Transaction Management: Oversee the end-to-end process of transactions including negotiation documentation and execution ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Merchant Banking Wealth Management legal operations and compliance teams to deliver seamless solutions to clients.
- Revenue Generation and amp; Performance Tracking: Contribute to the profitability of the institution by effectively managing a portfolio of institutional clients for Merchant Banking and Wealth.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelors degree in Finance Economics Business Administration or a related field. A Masters degree or professional certifications (e.g. CFA FRM) is advantageous.
- Experience: Minimum of 510 years in institutional relationship within the financial services industry with a proven track record of originating and executing complex financial transactions.
