About the Role
Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is looking for a diligent and meticulous individual for the role of DO NOT APPLY - TEST REQ - Material Handler I. Joining our top-notch engineering team you will be instrumental in maintaining the seamless and effective operation of our processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inventory by recognizing labeling and positioning materials and supplies in stock; recording the location of the inventory.
- Find materials and supplies by retrieving and confirming items listed on production orders.
- Record the delivery of units and their respective locations to document the disposition of materials and supplies.
- Prepare finished stock for shipment by identifying pulling packing crating loading and securing product.
- Strictly adhere to safety protocols and ensure the flawless execution of material handling processes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or similar role.
- Outstanding attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to operate a forklift hand truck pallet jack and other material handling equipment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
