Position Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled Fitter Welder I to join a manufacturing company specializing in industrial equipment. The ideal candidate must be able to pass a 3G Mig/Flux test and demonstrate strong layout and welding abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clamp hold tack-weld grind and bolt components into position for welding.
  • Analyze engineering drawings and specifications to plan layout assembly and welding operations.
  • Layout fit nozzles supports and couplings per blueprint into shell.
  • Remove rough spots from workpieces using portable grinders hand files or scrapers.
  • Maintain a safe work environment and report defective tools and equipment.
