The Program/Project Manager II will provide comprehensive program management support for the Joint Tactical Networking Center (JTNC). This role is responsible for planning coordinating and executing program and project management activities ensuring alignment with Department of Defense (DoD) directives acquisition policies and JTNC mission objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support project planning scheduling and execution across multiple JTNC initiatives. - Develop and maintain program documentation including schedules risk management plans and performance reports. - Coordinate meetings working groups and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) preparing agendas minutes and action item tracking. - Monitor program performance metrics prepare reports and recommend process improvements. - Support acquisition strategy development program objective memorandum (POM) planning and cost management efforts. - Collaborate with technical leads stakeholders and government representatives to ensure timely delivery of program objectives. - Ensure compliance with DoD Navy and NAVWAR program management directives and standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Engineering or related field. - Minimum of 35 years of professional experience in program or project management preferably supporting DoD acquisition programs. - Demonstrated knowledge of DoD acquisition lifecycle planning programming budgeting and execution (PPBE) process. - Strong organizational communication and leadership skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Project). - Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance; TS/SCI may be required based on project needs.
