Opportunity
PeopleTec is currently seeking a Product Manager to support our Huntsville AL location.
PeopleTec is a company that hires and develops technology talent and puts them to work on client projects across the United States. We specialize in Digital Transformation Cloud Services DevSecOps Cybersecurity Artificial Intelligence (AI) Business Intelligence (BI) Data Science and Machine Learning (ML) related initiatives both in the federal and commercial space. We are currently seeking a mid/senior-level Product Manager to support our Huntsville location.
Our team is seeking an exceptionally motivated self-starting Product Manager. As a Product Manager you will serve as a servant leaderfacilitating alignment communication and delivery across teams while empowering the Product Owner to define and own the product vision and backlog. Your role is to support and enable rather than to direct ensuring that the product team delivers value effectively and consistently.
Duties:
- Partner with the Product Owners to ensure the product vision and strategy remain aligned with business objectives and stakeholder needs.
- Facilitate development of product roadmaps that reflect the Product Owners vision and priorities.
- Support the Product Owners in refining and prioritizing the backlog by providing market insights stakeholder perspectives and risk analysis.
- Encourage collaboration across developers designers QA and stakeholders by fostering transparency communication and teamwork.
- Assist in coordinating release planning and execution helping the team identify dependencies risks and cross-team impacts.
- Gather synthesize and share stakeholder and customer feedback to help inform backlog prioritization and continuous improvement.
- Track metrics and outcomes that enable the Product Owners to make informed data-driven decisions.
- Promote Agile principles and servant-leadership practices that empower the team remove impediments and maximize delivery of value.
- Encourage a culture of continuous improvement helping the team reflect on and evolve their processes.
- Ensure that the team remains focused on delivering value to both the customer and the business in alignment with the Product Owners vision.
Qualifications
Required Skills/Experience:
- Prior experience managing multiple product development efforts simultaneously. This includes skills in product development product strategy road mapping market analysis and product lifecycle management.
- Strong technical skills to include knowledge of some or all the following: software development systems engineering data analytics model and simulation hardware-in-the-loop digital transformation.
- A deep understanding of Agile principles and methodologies.
- Proven leadership communication and interpersonal skills which are essential for effectively managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Experience providing long-term vision and strategic thinking to align product development with overall business goals.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
Education Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field (e.g. Computer Science Engineering etc.)
Desired Skills:
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal oversight.
- Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
- Proficiency in identifying assessing and managing risks associated with program delivery.
- A willingness to learn new tools and adapt processes to fit product and stakeholder needs.
- Skill in managing relationships with various stakeholders including customers end-users executives and development teams.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Focus on understanding and meeting the needs of the end-users.
- Analytical mindset to gather and analyze data make data-driven decisions and measure the success of the product.
- The capacity to adapt to changing circumstances and navigate through ambiguity changing priorities and/or requirements.
- The ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts effectively both within the project team and with external parties.
- Located in the Huntsville AL area or willing to relocate.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
