Job Description

Special Education Tutor (Math & ELA Elementary Grades) Needed!

Were looking for a patient skilled and caring Special Education Tutor to work one-on-one with elementary students in Math and English Language Arts.

This role is perfect for someone passionate about supporting students with learning differences and helping them build strong academic foundations while gaining confidence in their abilities.

What Youll Do

  • Provide individualized instruction in Math and ELA to elementary students.

  • Adapt lessons and teaching strategies to meet the unique needs of each learner.

  • Use multisensory engaging methods to support comprehension and skill development.

  • Encourage and motivate students while celebrating progress.

  • Communicate with families and staff to ensure consistent support.

What Were Looking For

  • Experience tutoring or teaching elementary Math and ELA.

  • Understanding of strategies and accommodations for students with learning differences (e.g. dyslexia ADHD autism).

  • Strong communication patience and empathy.

  • Dependable and organized.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Education Special Education or related field.

  • Experience with IEPs or 504 plans.

  • Teaching credential (not required but a plus).
