Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
Detail oriented and excellent follow-up skills a must. Must be an excellent communicator (verbally and written). Must be able to follow detailed instructions on every transaction.
Preferred Qualification(s):
Construction equipment knowledge and phases of construction. Excellent on telephone while working with customers and outside rental reps.
Education Requirements:
Bachelors Degree (business finance marketing) preferred or five years relevant experience.
Essential Job Functions:
Accepts responsibility and maintains ownership of each transaction from cradle to grave. Create and email quotes of rental new and used equipment and freight rates. Schedule delivery and pick up of equipment. Coordinate with service department of equipment needs for customer deadline. Handles customer disputes and problems as appropriate to the situation. Outbound cold calls by phone and daily logging of each call in Salesforce CRM. Record lost rentals and sales. Processes rental agreements and invoices without error in customer portal. Process vendor invoices promptly to capture payment terms.
Leadership Responsibilities:
Deals with adversity and work effectively with co-workers and customers. Must be customer focused and demonstrate professionalism and integrity. Demonstrates excellent problem-solving skills and provide timely customer solutions.
Preferred Experience and Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft suite (Word Excel power point) Power BI a plus
Physical and Mental Requirements:
Must be able to work continuously in spreadsheets Dealer Business System and company and customer portals.
Work Environment:
Respond to all customer requests in a professional courteous and timely manner. Always maintain a clean professional personal appearance meeting all Company standards.
Most work is conducted in a comfortable office environment but exposure to site conditions may also occur. Personal protective equipment must be worn in areas as required. Although the work usually is not considered inherently dangerous employees must be careful while performing onsite services.
