What you will be doing
We have an exciting Senior Planning & Control Manager role within the Partners Category of our Procurement organisation.
In this role you will be based in Derby working for the Senior Supply Chain Manager (SSCM) and will lead a team of Planning Delivery Leaders and be responsible for leading the Planning & Control activities that enable Inventory to be optimised for R-R & to ensure delivery performance expectations are achieved
Responsibilities:
With this attractive opportunity you will get a chance to:
Lead the Planning & Control team to ensure performance goals are achieved (OTIF Arrears Inventory ERP Compliance)
Work with ME Quality to ensure mid-term delivery risks are understood prioritized and supported.
Manage the SIOP supply chain responses to support business impact evaluation (Risk Inventory Capacity and Financial).
Utilizing the Rolls-Royce Production System lead the Planning & Control team to ensure that they understood their performance with robust action plans to close performance process or capability gaps.
Develop coach and lead the Planning & Control team members ensuring their responsibilities are delivered professionally.

Experience of working as a Planning & Control leader in a manufacturing supply chain management purchasing or logistics field.
Passionate about Planning with proven understanding and experience of Load and capacity and inventory management.
Has the professional credibility to lead and influence the extended functional and Supplier Management team.
Experience of personally delivering and engaging teams in performance improvement.
Demonstrated ability to spot opportunities for business/ process improvement and drive multiple change with pace.
Strong understanding of ERP principles business impact and confident in using SAP or equivalent systems to turn data into insight.
Skilled in Problem Solving techniques with the ability to identify risk and pull the right team together to find a solution.
