The Kuiper HR team is looking for a talented and strategic Sr. HRBP to help the Production Operations (ProdOps) business develop and execute HR strategies that enable business priorities and foster the employee experience. Kuiper ProdOps org mission is to build the Kuiper Production System and to accomplish this the team is divided into 8 verticals: Supply Chain Satellite Production and Assembly Launch Quality Infrastructure Enterprise Systems Ground Infrastructure and Global Trade & Compliance. This rapidly growing organization comprises a diverse multi-disciplinary workforce of both hourly and salaried employees across technical and non-technical roles. This organization is based predominately in the US with the majority across 4 sites in the Redmond/Bellevue area and one in Merritt Island Florida. As the Sr. HRBP this role will have to plan and execute work that touches all aspects of this unique business from building infrastructure for the hourly technician workforce to providing leadership coaching and driving HR functional excellence. We are seeking an experienced Sr. HRBP who can effectively interact with the senior leadership team possesses excellent communication skills strong business acumen and works effectively across multiple geographies.

Develop and implement talent strategies that support production goals and business growth

Work closely with talent acquisition teams to develop sustainable recruiting pipelines
Support employee relations and enable career development opportunities across the organization
Analyze business metrics and employee data to recommend systemic improvements
Function as a strategic consultant to key leaders translating business objectives into actionable HR solutions
Participate in strategic planning meetings to align HR initiatives with organizational goals
Balance enterprise-wide HR initiatives while tailoring solutions to meet specific business unit needs
Contribute to the global talent strategy while addressing the unique needs of your assigned business area
Review and optimize employee experience initiatives to improve retention and engagement

-Work with executive leadership team to develop and implement organizational initiatives and solutions at scale.
- Partner closely with the HR team work that supports the business to drive results
- Define and deliver on people goals that are based on business drivers and tied to strategic priorities of the business.
- Earn trust as a partner to the extended PXT leadership locally and regionally/globally.
- Partner with business leaders on organizational design workforce planning succession planning and skills assessment and development.
- Review and analyze business metrics including data on retention and employee experience in order to recommend systemic improvements.
- Partner with the business to lead both annual and mid-year review processes which focus on performance management and talent development.
About the team
The Kuiper PXT team is a highly cross functional team. Given our start up nature we work very closely across our TA COE and international teams to present one people view to the business. Its also a very mission-based organization where we get to be an intimate partner to bring that mission alive.
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
7 years of experience in an HR Generalist role preferably experience in both Tech and Operations organizations.
5 years experience working as a business partner and driving organizational change initiatives and developing talent management plans for global organization teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication; high quality document preparation data visualization and facilitation skills.
Previous employee relations and talent assessment experience.
Due to applicable export control laws and regulations candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national U.S. permanent resident (i.e. current Green Card holder) or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum
Masters degree in Human Resources or MBA.
Previous experience leading in a matrix environment.
Demonstrated achievements in coaching influencing and problem solving.
Prior end to end senior HR leadership experience supporting a large (1K) geographically dispersed organization that consists of operation roles and senior executive customers.
Strong business acumen and ability to work well across different functions in order to integrate HR and business strategies.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $117000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $193400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
