About the role:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Credit Analyst to join our newly established Credit Management team within the Deal Desk organization. This role will be critical in building and defining our new credit management function as outlined in our Credit Management Program. You will be responsible for evaluating the creditworthiness of new and existing customers mitigating credit risk and supporting the companys financial health. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment possesses strong analytical skills and enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements.
This is a remote position open to candidates residing in Mexico.

In this role you will:
- Perform comprehensive credit analysis on prospective and existing customers including reviewing credit reports financial statements (balance sheets and income statements) and industry trends.
- Assess credit risk and recommend appropriate credit limits and payment terms in accordance with company policy.
- Collaborate closely with the Deal Desk Sales and other cross-functional teams to resolve credit-related issues and facilitate customer approvals for sub-annual billing frequencies.
- Process and analyze requests for credit limit increases for existing customers evaluating payment history and current credit profiles.
- Maintain the accuracy and integrity of all credit data by actively monitoring and managing credit tools and databases.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the credit management process by identifying inefficiencies and participating in projects to automate and optimize workflows.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer credit files and records.

Minimum requirements for the role:
- 2 years of professional experience in credit analysis finance or a related role.
- Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret financial data and credit reports.
- Professional-level written and verbal fluency in English.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders.
- Adaptability to work a flexible schedule to support global operations including adjusting hours to provide critical coverage for regions with higher volume.
- Willingness to work a rotating holiday schedule to ensure business continuity and support quarter-end financial cycles which may conflict with local holidays.
An ideal candidate also has:
- Previous experience in the banking lending or financial services industries.
- Experience in a SaaS or technology company.
- Salesforce and Zendesk experience.
- A continuous improvement mindset and an appreciation for leveraging data to make meaningful business process changes.
- Aptitude for building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders and peers.
