The Technical Program Manager (TPM) for WW Pricing CX leads the program to improve customers comprehension of Amazon prices. They delight customers by accelerating the delivery of features that inform customers if a price is good or poor. This requires deep technical knowledge an understanding of customer needs and project requirements and an ability to collaborate across job functions.
This role leads the collaboration between WW Pricing and other internal teams requiring deep technical coordination and integration capabilities. They drive the delivery of sophisticated projects that help customers discover well-priced substitute products when encountering poorly priced items balancing customer experience with business objectives.
They demonstrate exceptional adaptability to changes in mental models particularly with the introduction of AI at Amazon and customers increasing access to information through AI assistants. They possess the strategic vision to understand the evolving landscape identify emerging opportunities and lead multiple teams in pivoting their roadmaps when necessary.
They establish critical mechanisms ensuring that price quality considerations are integrated into new feature launches from partner teams. They actively collaborate with these teams to identify additional gaps and opportunities while working with leaders to drive appropriate urgency across initiatives. They facilitate schedule and prepare strategic debates between leaders across WW Pricing marketplace leadership and partner teams focusing discussions on customer trust business opportunities and plan durability.
- 5 years of technical product or program management experience - 7 years of working directly with engineering teams experience - 3 years of software development experience - 5 years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience - Experience managing programs across cross functional teams building processes and coordinating release schedules - Bachelors Degree
- 5 years of project management disciplines including scope schedule budget quality along with risk and critical path management experience - Experience managing projects across cross functional teams building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules - Experience defining KPIs/SLAs used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
