As a Graduate Process Engineer youll gain real-world experience work on complex chemical and industrial projects and be supported every step of the way by mentors peers and professionals who are invested in your growth.

This entry-level role is designed for recent graduates looking to launch their careers with a global leader. Youll be embedded in our Process Engineering team and involved in real project work that matters from day one.

What Youll Do

Under supervision and mentorship youll:

  • Support the execution of process engineering deliverables for chemical sector projects safely on time and within budget.
  • Contribute to process studies simulations heat & material balances PFDs and P&IDs.
  • Assist in the preparation of technical specifications datasheets equipment sizing and reports.
  • Work with cross-disciplinary teams to develop innovative practical engineering solutions.
  • Learn and apply industry standards regulatory requirements and customer specifications.
  • Participate in hazard reviews risk assessments and design reviews as applicable.
  • Develop skills using process modeling software (e.g. Aspen HYSYS ChemCAD).
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.

What Were Looking For

Education:

  • Required: Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from an accredited university.
  • Preferred: Candidate eligible for or holding an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification with intent to pursue Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.

Experience & Skills:

  • Internship co-op or project-based experience in process engineering or related work is preferred
  • Basic understanding of core chemical engineering principles and design practices
  • Exposure to or interest in learning process simulation tools such as Aspen HYSYS Aspen Plus ChemCAD or similar
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical thinking problem-solving ability and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team-based environment
  • Willingness to learn take initiative and adapt in a fast-paced project setting
