Key Responsibilities:
Design develop and maintain automated test suites across data pipelines APIs and remediation logic (calculations rule engines).
Interpret complex business rules and translate them into test scenarios and automated scripts.
Collaborate with onshore QA Leads developers and analysts to ensure test coverage aligns with regulatory outcomes.
Execute regression integration and end-to-end tests across the remediation lifecycle.
Raise and track defects perform root cause analysis and support defect resolution.
Ensure all test artefacts (scripts results traceability matrices) are auditable and meet regulatory expectations.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of test automation frameworks and practices.
Attend daily stand-ups sprint planning and retrospective meetings remotely.
Essential Skills & Experience:
5 years of experience in automated testing preferably in financial services or regulated environments.
Strong proficiency in one or more automation tools: Selenium Cypress Postman (for API testing) or similar.
Solid experience with Python Java or JavaScript for test scripting.
Exposure to SQL and ETL/data validation testing (ideally on cloud platforms such as Databricks or Snowflake).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g. Git Jenkins Azure DevOps).
Ability to work autonomously offshore while integrating with an onshore UK-based delivery team.
Strong attention to detail and understanding of data integrity and auditability requirements.
Desirable:
Experience working on remediation redress or regulatory compliance programmes.
Exposure to UK financial services or regulatory standards (e.g. FCA DISP CONC).
Understanding of Gherkin/Cucumber for BDD-driven testing.
Knowledge of test data management and synthetic data generation approaches.
