PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Consultant will work on various digital advisory and technology consulting projects in the Built Environment for various industry sectors including government education institutions data center aviation and healthcare among others.
He/She will work with the engineering design teams and wider project team to apply creative thinking collaboration and structured approach to arrive at digital solutions for smart buildings design and lasting operational improvement. The successful candidate will have a passion for embedding digital innovation and deliver smart technology to meet clients expectations.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Delivers smart solutions to manage energy and resources optimise energy efficiencies and reduce carbon emissions
- Develop innovative sustainable solutions to meet engineering challenges
- Involve in engineering projects to be equipped with engineering design fundamentals
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to capture and document user business and operational requirements
- Interpret and analyse data to identify gaps and provide insights and recommendations to the stakeholders
- Work with management to research and identify workflow or technology issues and develop creative solutions
- Participate in understanding system relationships structures and end-to-end flows
Job Requirements
Essential skills and knowledge
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills able to present and facilitate meetings & workshops
- Ability to translate user requirements and analysis into technical requirements to meet objectives
- Strong people skills in active listening and building trusting relationships
- Interested in integrating people digital systems and thought-leadership into a coherent outcome that achieves the project intent
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in engineering consultancy environment
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Excel PowerPoint Word and Teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Capability to manipulate visualize and present data in an understandable way
- Strong people skills in active listening and building trusting relationships
- Project Management skills
- High attention to detail
