About your new employer is:
- A leading specialist in the development and operation of renewable energy assets.
About the role:
- Partner with senior leadership and the wider team to navigate complex legal and regulatory issues in the electricity and renewables sector. Your responsibilities will include:
- Advising on energy electricity and renewables law including compliance with the National Electricity Rules and relevant regulatory frameworks.
- Drafting and negotiating key commercial agreements including EPC O&M PPA and project financing contracts.
- Supporting project development acquisitions and joint ventures across solar battery and hybrid energy projects.
The ideal candidate:
- 7 years PQE with expertise in electricity energy projects and renewables.
- Coming out of private practice and/or INH
- Experienced in drafting and negotiating project infrastructure or energy contracts.
- Commercially astute with the ability to balance legal risk and business objectives.
- Confident working autonomously while also collaborating closely with internal stakeholders.
- Motivated to be part of a fast-growing mission-driven company transforming the energy landscape.
