Our client a UK-based law firm is hiring a Cantonese-speaking Solicitor (England & Wales) or qualified legal executive to join their International Property team. This Manchester-based role involves leading a team of three paralegals and working closely with colleagues in the UK and Hong Kong. The focus is on new-build and off-plan residential property transactions for overseas clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of paralegals
- Oversee client onboarding and ensure excellent client care
- Review title packs conduct title checks and analyse property searches
- Manage exchanges and completions for lenders or buyers
- Prepare and review client documentation
- Attend meetings and support exhibitions in London
- Contribute to business development and team collaboration
About You
- Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEx)
- 1-3 years PQE in residential conveyancing ideally with new-build/off-plan experience
- Fluent in Cantonese and English (spoken and written)
- Strong organisational communication and leadership skills
- Proactive detail-oriented and flexible
- Experience with overseas clients preferred
