Job Description
What success looks like in this role:
We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to design implement and manage our network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network technologies and a passion for problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design configure and maintain network systems including routers switches firewalls and VPNs.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.
- Implement security measures to safeguard network data.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate new technologies and improve existing systems.
- Document network configurations procedures and policies.
- Provide support for network-related incidents and service requests.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
You will be successful in this role if you have:
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Network Engineer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP DNS DHCP etc.).
- Experience with network security practices and technologies.
- Familiarity with cloud networking solutions is a plus.
- Relevant certifications (e.g. CCNA CCNP CompTIA Network) preferred.
