Job Description
Hire Resolves Client is urgently looking for a Mine Manager to be based at a mine in Limpopo!
Responsibilities:
- Ensure full compliance with the Mine Health and Safety Act Minerals Act and relevant regulations.
- Manage daily mine operations including resource allocation and execution of the mining plan.
- Monitor production performance and initiate corrective actions to meet targets.
- Oversee workforce competency training and development to ensure safe skilled operations.
- Compile operational reports and manage budgets with effective cost control measures.
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Mine Managers certificate of competence
- Mining Engineering Degree/B-Tech
- At least 10 years experience in conventional underground mining
- 3-5 years in a managerial role in the mining industry
- 8 years hard rock underground experience
- Valid Drivers License
