Title -Stipend - Literacy Champion (Berk) (SY-25-26)

LOCATION: Berkowitz Elementary School

REPORTS TO: School Principal

GENERAL DUTIES:

• Assist in unit and lesson level planningfor their specific grade level or area
• Create and share technical materials aligned with best practices in teaching and learning
• Use data to identify trends adjust instruction and inform intervention strategies for students
• Collect and analyze assessment results to develop and track targeted instruction/support for students
• Co-create and lead professional development sessions at the school level. This includes: Professional Learning Teams (PLTs) Faculty Meetings District Early Release and Professional Development Days

QUALIFICATIONS: The ideal candidate will be an educator at the Berkowitz or Complex. We are looking for a well represented group of educators (classroom teachers across all grade levels instructional coaches reading specialists special education teachers EL teachers).

COMPENSATION: Teachers will be paid at the contractual rate for work outside of the school day. This work will be done throughout the school year.
