Job Description
The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Adams School of Dentistry invites applications for a full-time fixed-term faculty member in General Dentistry. Responsibilities include but are not limited to assuring safe and effective delivery of patient care providing didactic and clinical education summative and formative student assessment and leading small group seminars. This position offers opportunities for intramural practice scholarly activities continuing education and professional service. Successful applicants should have the ability to establish a robust intramural practice with the UNC Adams School of Dentistrys Dental Faculty Practice.
Preferred Qualifications Competencies And Experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience in educating dental students in preclinical and/or clinical settings or minimum of 3 years of experience in private general practice or completion of an advanced dental education program. Candidates must demonstrate excellent clinical credentials supervisory organizational mentoring customer service written and verbal communication skills clinical experience and a strong background in all aspects of general dentistry.
