Position Description:

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) seeks a board-certified / board-eligible physician to join our expanding Division of General Obstetrics and Gynecology as an Academic Hospitalist.This position is in Milwaukee WI at the Froedtert & MCW Birth Center. We are comprised of a nationally and internationally renowned dedicated group of faculty and staff with a strong commitment to clinical care.

Position Highlights

• Clinical Care: Provide care to both high-risk and low-risk obstetric patients in a hospitalist role. Manage emergent gynecologic conditions and perform surgical procedures as needed.

Schedule and Locations

• Practice Locations: Froedtert & MCW Birth Center and Froedtert Emergency Department

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts totaling 14 per month with a balanced mix of weeknights weekends and holidays

Position Requirements:

• Medical degree (MD DO or equivalent)from an accredited institution.
• Board certification (or eligibility) in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• State medical licensure or eligibility to obtain license in the state of Wisconsin.
• Academic rank will be determined based on the qualifications and experience of the successful finalist.
