Job Description
Job Title: Web Press Helper
Hours: 6:00 PM 6:00 AM (Monday Tuesday Wednesday; overtime as needed)
Status: Full-time (36 hours) Hourly
Hourly Rate: $18.00 plus $1.50 Night Shift Differential; overtime begins at 40 hours
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Web Press Helper to support our Web team in achieving optimal production quality and efficiency. This role involves various tasks critical to our operations ensuring we meet our commitments to customers while maintaining a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Uphold quality standards and adhere to departmental and company policies.
Communicate effectively with co-workers management and other departments regarding quality cost safety and employee morale.
Assist in web operations including bundling signatures roll tending and supporting web operators with assigned tasks.
Ensure customer commitments are fulfilled by working 36-40 hours per week and being available for overtime as necessary.
Display flexibility by assisting in other departments as assigned and adapting to changing priorities and projects.
Demonstrate operational excellence by managing daily activities with minimal supervision and showing initiative in improving performance.
Foster effective communication within the team to enhance collaboration.
Deliver exceptional service that leaves customers with a WOW experience.
Maintain a clean healthy and safe work environment processing paperwork in accordance with department guidelines.
Engage in housekeeping tasks during downtime and be a responsible steward of company resources.
Position Requirements:
Ability to repeatedly lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Capability to stand for the entire production shift as well as crouch crawl pull reach and perform repetitive motions.
Personal drive and ambition with potential for growth within the organization.
Previous experience in print roll-tending or bundling is a plus.
