Full-Time Faculty Biology/Biotechnology
Location: Kuwait City Kuwait Academic Year Immediate Start
Position requires relocation; only candidates unaccompanied by dependents are eligible.
American International University (AIU) in Kuwait is seeking dynamic student-centered faculty in Biology or Biotechnology to join our School of Arts & Sciences. This is a full-time on-ground role for individuals excited to teach abroad contribute to a growing institution and bring their expertise to a global student body. Candidates with backgrounds in either Biology or Biotechnology are encouraged to apply.

What Youll Do
- Teach a range of Biology and/or Biotechnology courses (introductory to advanced) for engineering biotechnology and general education students
- Deliver engaging instruction with real-world applications and active learning methods
- Contribute to curriculum development program assessment and academic advising
- Participate in departmental service and institutional initiatives
- Engage in research or scholarly activities aligned with your expertise
Qualifications
- Masters or PhD in Biology Biotechnology Genetics or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of university-level teaching experience (preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of professional/industry experience in Biology or Biotechnology (preferred)
- Strong command of English and effective classroom communication
- Experience teaching in classroom hybrid and online environments
- Cultural adaptability and enthusiasm for working with a diverse student population
- Commitment to mentoring student success and academic excellence
- Experience supporting English language learners and first-generation students is valued
