American International University (AIU) in Kuwait is seeking dynamic student-centered faculty in Biology or Biotechnology to join our School of Arts & Sciences. This is a full-time on-ground role for individuals excited to teach abroad contribute to a growing institution and bring their expertise to a global student body. What Youll Do

• Teach a range of Biology and/or Biotechnology courses (introductory to advanced) for engineering biotechnology and general education students
• Deliver engaging instruction with real-world applications and active learning methods
• Contribute to curriculum development program assessment and academic advising
• Participate in departmental service and institutional initiatives
• Engage in research or scholarly activities aligned with your expertise

Qualifications

• Masters or PhD in Biology Biotechnology Genetics or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of university-level teaching experience (preferred)
• Minimum 5 years of professional/industry experience in Biology or Biotechnology (preferred)
• Strong command of English and effective classroom communication
• Experience teaching in classroom hybrid and online environments
• Cultural adaptability and enthusiasm for working with a diverse student population
• Commitment to mentoring student success and academic excellence
• Experience supporting English language learners and first-generation students is valued
