About the Program
Join us for a 12-week hands-on internship experience where youll gain real-world exposure to the construction industry while contributing to meaningful projects that drive impact Boyd Jones Construction. Our interns are not here to just observe youll collaborate with experienced professionals sharpen your skills and leave with tangible accomplishments to add to your resume.
What Youll Gain

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing client proposals and RFP responses including copywriting layout design and coordination with internal teams.
- Support the client interview process through presentation design messaging and creative input.
- Create and edit designs concepts and messaging that support company branding and business development goals.
- Collaborate with marketing and business development staff to ensure brand integrity across all materials.
- Visit job sites to capture photography and video content; help maintain the companys media library.
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions and creative strategy discussions.
- Support other marketing projects and initiatives as assigned.
What youll bring
- Current enrollment in Journalism Communications Marketing Graphic Design Construction Management Engineering Architecture or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite preferred (InDesign Photoshop Illustrator).
- Organized dependable and able to meet deadlines.
- Positive proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving.
- Willingness to learn about the architecture engineering and construction (A/E/C) industry.
Work Environment
- Office-based role with occasional visits to job sites for content gathering.
- Standard business hours with occasional flexibility to meet project deadlines.
