Job Title: Page Speed Optimization Specialist (Funnelish Checkout)
Contractor Fee: $20 - $40/hour (USD)
Work Arrangement: Remote
Engagement Type: Independent Contractor
Commitment: Part-time/Hourly to Full-time (long-term priority)

About This Role:
We are looking for an experienced Page Speed Optimization Specialist to improve the performance of our Funnelish checkout pages. The role involves auditing optimizing and ensuring the fastest possible user experience for e-commerce conversions. The ideal candidate is someone who has proven experience with Funnelish optimization and can deliver results within 7 days.
Key Responsibilities:
Audit checkout pages using Lighthouse and WebPageTest.
Remove or defer non-essential scripts to reduce load time.
Optimize all images including converting to WebP and applying lazy-loading for reviews.
Minify and clean CSS & JavaScript.
Improve caching policies and CDN setup.
Ensure the checkout form loads first for maximum conversion speed.
Software/Platforms/Tools:
Funnelish
Lighthouse WebPageTest
WebP image optimization tools
CSS/JS minification tools
CDN and caching platforms (Cloudflare etc.)
Qualifications:
3-5 years of freelancing experience
Proven experience optimizing Funnelish and checkout pages.
Strong understanding of frontend performance caching and CDN setup.
Ability to deliver results within tight timelines (7 days).
Excellent communication skills in English (C1/C2 level).
Detail-oriented and able to work independently.
Shift Schedule:
Monday Friday Flexible working hours with overlap for team communication (US business hours).
