Responsibilities
- Client management for air quality projects including client interaction and responsibility for oversight of high-quality deliverables
- Developing strategy and quality review of air permit applications for federal and state agencies including emissions inventories
- State and federal regulatory review and application of those regulations to specific client situations
- Compliance recordkeeping and reporting based on permit conditions
- Greenhouse gas and state inventory reporting
- Assistance with mentoring entry-level air quality
- Potential to assist with noise analyses including transportation impacts analyses
- Support air quality proposal development and client marketing efforts as needed
- Transportation conformity analyses including conducting evaluations per DOT and FHWA protocols
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Bachelors degree in Environmental Science or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- 6-10 years in Air Quality-related professional services; candidates with more or less relevant experience are encouraged to apply
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
- Preferred experience with emissions and impacts models such as ProMax AERMOD and MOVES
- Experience and knowledge with federal or state regulations review
- Self-driven with the ability to oversee and complete multiple projects simultaneously requiring minimal supervision
- Critical thinker and problem solver that can work in a dynamic group environment
- Exceptional communication skills particularly with technical writing
- Beneficial but not required experience with noise analyses TNM modeling and noise monitoring
