Penola Catholic College is excited to offer a fantastic leadership opportunity for a passionate and engaging Acting Transition Officer to join our innovative and contemporary teaching environment.
The Transition Coordinator is responsible for creating and implementing a transition program with our primary schools to assist incoming students settle in. The Transition Coordinator will also organise the Year 7 Orientation Day Camp and Information Nights. They will be responsible for coordinating transition from Year 7 into Year 8 and Year 8 into Year 9.
About You
To be successful you will be able to demonstrate and model contemporary teaching practice: understanding how students learn best and have a demonstrated knowledge of the Australian curriculum frameworks. You will also be registered or have the ability to be registered with VIT.
You will also have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children.
