Job Description
Job Summary (List Format) for Power BI Product Owner Position:
- Serve as the Technical Product Owner for Power BI at Daimler Truck.
- Lead the development and implementation of Power BI solutions to fulfill business objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather analyze and prioritize requirements.
- Define and manage the Power BI product roadmap incorporating stakeholder feedback.
- Provide guidance and support to the development team ensuring best practices are followed.
- Act as the primary contact for all Power BI-related inquiries and issues ensuring timely resolution.
- Design and create intuitive data visualizations using Power BI Desktop.
- Develop efficient and scalable Power BI data models including DAX calculations.
- Utilize strong SQL skills and ETL processes for data management.
- Ensure data security and compliance with regulatory requirements within Power BI solutions.
- Oversee data governance and GDPR compliance at the enterprise level.
- Collaborate effectively with global teams and external partners.
- Participate in problem-solving and brainstorming sessions to drive solution improvements.
- Preferred: Experience with Microsoft Fabric Power Apps Copilot Studio Power Automate DevOps pipelines GitHub Qlik Tableau multi-cloud environments and ITSM tools like ServiceNow.
- Maintain up-to-date Power BI certifications (PL-300 or DP-500 preferred).
- Requires a Bachelors (7 years experience) or Masters (5 years experience) in a relevant field with substantial Power BI implementation experience.
