Client Support Specialist

Moneta is seeking an Alternative Investment Client Support Specialist to join our Enterprise Services Team in St. Louis. The Client Support Specialist handles the administrative and operational tasks related to Alternative Investment transactions for client teams. This Specialist will facilitate subscriptions of hedged strategies real assets alternative fixed income and private investment offerings for our clients.  This role is a member of the Platform team and acts as a point of contact for client teams on matters regarding Alternative Investments.

Essential Responsibilities

• Process transactions related to Alternative Investments (AI) for client teams including subscriptions contributions distributions redemptions and transfers.
• Work with Business Systems & Custodian team to ensure the processes for AIs at each custodian are up to date.
• Assist in the implementation of processing new fund offerings for the client teams.
• Review fund documentation for accuracy and completeness prior to submission.  Facilitate review of items needing clarification with client teams.   
• Act as the liaison between client teams and fund companies to ensure timely communication on open issues inquiries and tax reporting.
• Assist with fund reconciliation following closes and capital calls.
• Communicate with custodians as needed regarding processing of AI paperwork.
• Modifies and documents internal business processes as needed.
• Additional assignments as needed

Qualifications :

• B.S. Business Finance or related field preferred
• One year or more of related experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications Salesforce CRM

This is a full-time permanent non-exempt position and reports to the Senior Client Support Manager.

Moneta is a fiduciary fee-only Registered Investment Advisory firm and unable to hold securities licenses with the exception of Series 65.  We also do not allow outside business activities insurance commissions and/or trails.
