Job Description

Paint Prepper - Bluebonnet Ford

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Paint Prepper to join our team. The Paint Prepper plays a critical role in the vehicle reconditioning process by ensuring all surfaces are properly prepared for painting. This position supports the overall quality of paint finishes and contributes to a high level of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Buff and polish paint work from the painter.
  • Communicate status of all work to estimator and painter.
  • Quality inspects body all work.
  • Maintain clean work area.
  • Attend weekly department meetings.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Education/Experience

High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED); and six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand walk and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally life and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
